Description
Cobalt powder (also called fine/ultrafine cobalt powder, molecular formula: Co) is a gray irregular powder with uniform particle distribution (1–10 μm for fine grade, <1 μm for ultrafine). Soluble in inorganic acids like hydrochloric acid, magnetic, and prone to oxidation in humid air (sealed dry storage strongly recommended).
As a high-performance metal powder, it is widely used in hard alloys (as a core binder), industrial catalysts, electronic components, high-performance magnetic materials, lithium-ion battery cathodes, hydrogen storage alloy electrodes, precision special tools, and high-temperature-resistant industrial coatings.
