Description

The ternary precursor material, chemically denoted as NixCoyMn(1-x-y)(OH)₂ (nickel-cobalt-manganese hydroxide), serves as the core precursor for ternary composite cathode materials. It is synthesized via a controlled co-precipitation process using high-purity nickel salts, cobalt salts, and manganese salts as raw materials.

A key advantage lies in its flexible composition—with the nickel-cobalt-manganese ratio (x:y:z) customizable within a wide range to meet specific performance requirements (e.g., high energy density, long cycle life) of target applications. Beyond power batteries for new energy vehicles and small electric models, it is also extensively utilized in energy storage systems and high-performance portable electronic device batteries, leveraging its balanced electrochemical properties and scalable production capabilities.
